Lorenzo Pignotti’s book gathers 80 tales and 7 short stories, all written in verses. All the stories have a precise moral teaching as they target men’s vices and trivialities. Some tales are original, such as The Lion, the Bear, the Dog; others are taken from the classic repertoire of tales, especially from Aesop, like The City Mouse and the Country Mouse.
